The Yonex Eclipsion 5 tennis shoe is aimed at experienced players wanting a model that's perfect for covering every inch of the court.
The upper has been completely reworked with a mesh first layer to provide comfort and breathability and TPU protection to improve support and durability.
The midsole incorporates Power Cushion+ x TPU Support technology combined with Feather Bounce Foam to give you maximum comfort but also fantastic energy feedback to propel you your next ball.
The outsole has also been modified with a denser outer part for better adhesion while retaining its excellent durability.

On the "technical" side:

- Feather Bounce Foam: Foam present in the sole for greater responsiveness.
- Durable Skin: New construction on the inside of the foot promoting durability and support.
- Power Graphite : Graphite sheet integrated into the sole for greater stability and dynamism.
- Round Sole: Support located around the sole for smoother movements and perfect energy transfer
- Power Cushion+ x TPU Support: Power Cushion foam has had its shape modified to be present under the entire foot, but also on the outside of the foot. Combined with TPU reinforcement, this will improve stability and energy return on lateral movements.
- Endurance Rubber: Reinforced rubber on the outsole for greater durability
- Toe Assist Shape: Space left for the big toe to avoid chafing in play and midfoot support for greater stability
